Got Questions?
Everything you need to know before, during, and after your tour. Still have questions? Just call us.
(801) 822-1393We welcome guests of all ages. Kids tend to absolutely love the tours — the open-air Jeep, the terrain, and the wildlife sightings make for a genuinely memorable experience for younger guests. For children, we recommend they be old enough to follow basic safety instructions and hold on during rougher sections of trail. If you have very young children, just mention it when you book and we'll make sure the seating and route are appropriate.
We love dogs, but unfortunately pets are not permitted on our tours. The open-air vehicles, off-road terrain, and wildlife encounters make it an unsafe environment for animals. We recommend arranging pet care before your tour day.
We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours before your scheduled tour. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. If we need to cancel due to unsafe weather or trail conditions, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no cost. We always try to work with guests — if something comes up, just give us a call.
We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially during peak summer months when tours fill up fast. That said, last-minute bookings are sometimes possible — just give us a call at (801) 822-1393 and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
We run tours year-round and each season has its own magic. Summer (June–August) is peak season — wildflowers, warm weather, and the best trail conditions. Fall (September–October) is our personal favorite: the aspen trees turn gold, the air is crisp, and crowds are smaller. Spring brings snowmelt and wildlife. Even winter tours have their appeal — snow-covered landscapes and a completely different feel on the trail. There's no bad time to come.
Yes — many of our tours are available as private bookings, which means the Jeep is yours and yours alone. Private tours are great for families, couples, and small groups who want a more personal experience. Check the individual tour pages to see which options are available as public or private.
We offer hotel pickup at all three of our destinations — Park City, Bryce Canyon, and Jackson Hole. When you book, let us know where you're staying and we'll coordinate pickup directly from your hotel or vacation rental. No need to find a meeting point or arrange your own transport to the trailhead.
Layers are your best friend. Even on warm summer days it gets significantly cooler at elevation — especially in an open-air Jeep moving at speed. We recommend: closed-toe shoes, comfortable pants or shorts, a light jacket or windbreaker, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat with a chin strap or a close-fitting cap. Avoid loose hats, scarves, or anything that can fly off.
Water is provided on all tours, but feel free to bring your own bottle. A camera or fully charged phone is a must — the views are exceptional and you'll want photos. Sunscreen and sunglasses are essential. Small snacks are fine. Leave large bags at your hotel — space in the vehicle is limited and loose items can be difficult to manage on the trail.
Please leave large bags, suitcases, and oversized gear at your hotel. Loose hats, open-toed shoes, and flowing scarves are not recommended for safety reasons. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted during tours. If you have questions about a specific item, just ask when you book.
Tours run seven days a week. We typically offer morning and afternoon departure times, with the specific schedule varying by season and location. Our team is reachable by phone or text at (801) 822-1393 Monday through Sunday, 7am–8pm MT.
Our 3 Hour Off-Road + Mountainside Dining Experience in Park City includes a private dining component as part of the tour. On standard tours, water is included. If you have a special occasion or would like to arrange food or drinks for a private tour, reach out to us directly and we'll see what we can put together.
It depends on the destination and the season — but the short answer is a lot. In Park City you'll see alpine meadows, historic silver mining relics, sweeping Wasatch Mountain views, and often moose, deer, and birds of prey. In Bryce Canyon the hoodoos and red rock formations are the main event. In Jackson Hole you're in prime Teton country — wildlife sightings of moose, elk, and bison are common. Your guide will narrate throughout and will stop at key viewpoints for photos.
We operate in most weather conditions — a little rain or overcast sky often makes for dramatic and beautiful scenery. However, if conditions are genuinely unsafe (lightning, extreme weather, hazardous trail conditions), we will contact you to reschedule or issue a full refund. Mountain weather can change quickly, so we monitor conditions closely and will always communicate with you ahead of time if there's a concern.
Safety is the foundation of everything we do. All of our Jeep Gladiators are equipped with professional roll cages, seat belts at every position, and grab bars throughout the cabin. Every vehicle is inspected before each tour. Our guides are licensed, experienced, and trained in first aid. Before every tour, your guide will walk you through a safety briefing covering proper riding technique, what to hold onto, and what to do in the unlikely event of an issue.
Yes — every seat position, including the rear, is within the roll cage structure and includes seat belts and grab bars. The back seats actually have some of the best views on the tour. Your guide will brief everyone on proper riding technique before departure so you feel confident and comfortable wherever you're seated.
Gratuity is never required, but always deeply appreciated. Our guides work hard to make every tour exceptional and tips are a meaningful way to show your appreciation. If you feel your guide went above and beyond — and we're confident they will — a tip of 15–20% is a great way to say thank you. Cash and card are both fine.
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Your guide will stop at the best viewpoints and is happy to help with group photos. We just ask that you keep cameras and phones secured during rougher sections of trail. A wrist strap or secure case is a good idea. Some of our guests use GoPros or similar action cameras — just let your guide know beforehand.
We're real people and we actually pick up the phone. Call or text us any time.
