Meet the Founder
Founder & Owner, Western Jeep Tours
I grew up exploring the mountains of Utah and Wyoming, and I never got over the feeling of cresting a ridgeline and seeing something that took my breath away. I started Western Jeep Tours because I wanted to share that feeling with as many people as possible.
What started as a single Jeep and a handful of Park City regulars has grown into a full operation across three of the most spectacular destinations in the American West. Every guide we hire, every tour we build, and every route we run comes back to one simple question: will this guest leave with a story they'll tell for the rest of their life?

Every guide on our team is a certified driver, trained naturalist, and obsessive storyteller. They don't just drive the trail — they bring it to life.

6 years guiding the Wasatch backcountry. Local historian, wildlife tracker, and the person most likely to spot a moose before you do.

Former geology instructor turned Jeep guide. She can read a rock face like a book and makes million-year-old history feel brand new.
Lead Guide — Bryce Canyon
Born and raised near Bryce. Knows every hoodoo by name (almost). If you want to find the best light for photos, Mark knows exactly when and where.
Lead Guide — Jackson Hole
Wildlife biologist by training, adventure guide by calling. Jake has logged thousands of hours in the Tetons and brings a depth of knowledge that makes every ride feel like a discovery.
Every vehicle is fully inspected, every guide is certified, and every guest is briefed before we leave. Adventure doesn't have to mean risk.
We treat every guest like a friend we're taking out for the first time. Not a ticket number, not a group — a person with a story we want to be part of.
We operate with a deep respect for the landscapes we work in. Every tour leaves the trail exactly as we found it — or better.
We measure success by one thing: did our guest leave with a story they'll still be telling ten years from now? That's the bar we set for every single tour.
